I use twenty first century materials (nature and manufactured) to create folk inspired contemporary collages and assemblages. Angels,animals,and plants are the usual subject matter. Various methods including traditional women art forms connect unlikely parts. My work carries these messages-Please spay and neuter pets and do not litter our highways,byways,and waterways.I know my work is important and a spiritual connection that transcends time and place.I believe in the communion of saints...and the presence of angels.My education includes( BA in Art and some advanced studies in art,psychology,and religion).I encourage people to visit NC and support the work of galleries,shops,museums,festivals and support others by having my work available. I participate in Cornell University Great Backyard Bird Count,exhibit my folk cats somewhere in September each year to support local and world efforts to stop rabies,am an exhibiting professional artist and also volunteer my work in communities.
