I use twenty first century materials (nature and manufactured) to assemble folk inspired angels, animals, and plants. Various methods including traditional women art forms connect unlikely parts. My work carries these messages-Please spay and neuter pets and do not litter our highways, byways, and waterways.I know my work is important and a spiritual connection that transcends time and place.I believe in the communion of saints...and the presence of angels.I am educated( BA in Art and some advanced studies in art, psychology, and religion) and am very proud of my hard work to achieve my education.I store my work in a temp control environment unit because I have respect for my work as an artist.I respect the work of others and have been inspired by everything and every one I have encountered on the road. My garden is registered with |http://www.MonarchWatch.org, I count the birds with Cornell University bird projects |www.birdsource.org/gbbc/(FEB.17-20,2012) and participate in stop rabies programs www.worldrabiesday.org. exhibit my folk cats in September each year to support local and world efforts to stop rabies. I am an exhibiting professional artist and also volunteer my work in communities. ("Moonlight Cat" was purchased at Dare County Art Council Gallery)
